I have an external cd/dvd player, but it won't
boot the laptop either.
The Laptop works , but we want to recover and
start fresh.Clean XP install and drivers
{drivers are another problem....HERE'S what
I think is the whole problem, the recovery and
tools discs that came with the PC are on CD, and
I think the laptops internal player is now
failing to read ANY CD's, But will read DVD's.
