I am having a problem with download managers disconnecting me from the internet. What happens is when I start a download (or even 2) and go on viewing pages, I lose my connection. After I have lost it, I can ping google.com via ipconfig and I can download my Email via Outlook Express, but no browser will work. I have tried Internet Explorer and Firefox using Flashget and Internet Download Manager in all combinations and using Flashgot in Firefox. If I get to downloading 4 movies (my own set max limit) it will no longer disconnect me as long as I have a queue. Once disconnected, the only way out is to do a complete reboot of my OS and router as well. Comcast cable is my ISP.
Is this a download manager problem or a flashgot problem? Is anyone else having this problem?
